In 1658, William refused to bear arms in the militia and was subjected to penalties.
In 1660, William moved his family to Anne Arundel County. He owned Great Bonnerton, Hickory Hills, and Portland Manor.
William died on October 30, 1678 at Great Bonnerton and Hannah died before February 24, 1726, when her will was proved.

Fendall's Rebellion
In March, 1660 Josias Fendall attempted to overthrow the proprietary government of Maryland. It was a bloodless coup.
